Book 2–4 weeks ahead in peak season (June–September). Shoulder season is more flexible.

We recommend booking at least two to four weeks ahead during peak season (June through September). Shoulder-season availability is more flexible, but popular boats like the VanDutch 55 fill up quickly regardless of the time of year. Early booking also gives you the widest choice of dates and vessels.

Full refund if cancelled 7+ days before. 50% refund at 3–7 days. Non-refundable within 72 hours. Bad weather = free reschedule.

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the charter date receive a full refund. Between 3 and 7 days, a 50% refund applies. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. In the event of dangerous weather conditions, we will reschedule your charter at no additional cost.

If conditions are unsafe, MareFun will reschedule your charter for free. You'll be contacted the evening before if the forecast is poor.

Safety always comes first. If our skipper determines that sea conditions are unsuitable, we will offer you an alternative date at no extra charge. We monitor marine forecasts closely and will contact you the evening before your charter if conditions look unfavourable.

Absolutely. While our skippers know the best spots and can suggest popular routes — such as Tavolara, La Maddalena, or the Costa Smeralda — the day is entirely yours. We will tailor the route to your preferences, whether that means secluded coves, beach clubs, or open-water cruising.

No catering is included by default, but MareFun can arrange premium provisioning (platters, full lunches). You may also bring your own.

We do not provide catering as standard, but we can arrange a premium provisioning service for you — from aperitivo platters to full Italian lunches. Just let us know at the time of booking. You are also welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

Yes — snorkelling masks, fins, and noodles are included on every charter. Your skipper anchors in the best swim spots.

Of course — it is one of the highlights. Sardinia's waters are among the clearest in the Mediterranean. We provide snorkelling masks, fins, and noodles on every charter. Your skipper will anchor in the best spots for swimming, often in coves only accessible by boat.

Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and soft-soled shoes. Towels are provided. Use a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase.

We suggest sunscreen (reef-safe if possible), a hat, sunglasses, a light cover-up, and soft-soled shoes or bare feet on deck. Towels are provided. If you plan to bring luggage, a soft bag works better than a hard suitcase on a boat.

Our boats are day-charter vessels (no overnight cabins), but consecutive-day bookings are available so you can explore a different area each day.

While our fleet is optimised for day charters (our boats are not equipped with overnight sleeping cabins), we can arrange consecutive-day bookings so you can explore a different part of the coast each day. Contact us to discuss a multi-day itinerary.
