Safety Equipment on Every Boat
Every vessel in the MareFun fleet carries the following as standard — no exceptions.
AED (Defibrillator)
A medical-grade automated external defibrillator is on board every boat, accessible at all times. Our skippers are trained in its use.
Fire Extinguishers
Regularly serviced and inspected fire extinguishers are carried on all vessels.
Life Jackets
Full sets for all passengers, including child sizes. Quantities match the strict maximum guest limit for each boat.
First Aid Kit
A comprehensive first aid kit is carried on every charter.
AIS Tracking
Real-time vessel tracking that broadcasts our position to nearby boats and coastal authorities, and shows us theirs.
Dual Communications
Every boat carries both a fixed VHF radio and a portable VHF handset, ensuring redundant communication with coastguard and harbour authorities at all times.
Advanced Systems
Our Vanquish VQ40 and SACS Strider 15 carry additional navigation and safety technology.
Marine Radar
Enhanced situational awareness in all visibility conditions.
Night Vision

Daily Safety Briefing
Before every charter, your skipper conducts a full safety briefing covering life jacket locations, emergency procedures, communication equipment, and the day's route.
Weather Monitoring
Our team monitors marine forecasts continuously. If conditions are unsuitable for a safe and enjoyable charter, we will reschedule or offer a full refund. We will never depart in unsafe conditions.
Strict Guest Limits
Maximum passenger numbers are enforced on every boat, every time. No exceptions.
Insurance Coverage
All guests are covered by our comprehensive maritime insurance for the duration of the charter.
Regular Servicing
Every vessel in the fleet undergoes regular professional maintenance and safety inspections to ensure all equipment and systems are in full working order.
Certified Skippers
