Every yacht in our fleet carries snorkelling gear, and select boats are equipped with Seabob underwater scooters, tow sport inflatables, and stand-up paddleboards. Whether you want to glide beneath the surface at Tavolara, tow the kids on a banana behind the Brig Eagle 10, or paddle into a hidden cove on a SUP, the equipment is on board and ready to go.

Seabob Underwater Scooters
The Seabob is the ultimate underwater toy - a handheld jet-powered scooter that pulls you through the water at up to 20 km/h on the surface and 15 km/h below. No diving certification required: you hold on, press the trigger, and steer with your body weight. In Sardinia's crystalline waters - where visibility often reaches 30 metres - a Seabob transforms a casual swim into an unforgettable underwater flight.
Glide over seagrass meadows, chase schools of bream around the rocks of Tavolara, or cruise along the sandy bottom of the Piscine di Molara. MareFun carries Seabobs on two boats: the Vanquish VQ40 and the SACS Strider 15. Each session lasts as long as the battery holds (approximately 60 minutes of continuous use), and our crew handles all the charging and safety briefing so you can simply enjoy the ride.

Tow Sports & Inflatables
For guests who love speed and adrenaline, the Brig Eagle 10 is built for tow sports. With twin Suzuki 350 HP outboards delivering over 700 HP, there is plenty of power to pull a banana boat, tow tube, waterskis, or wakeboard. The crew rigs the tow line, explains hand signals, and drives at a speed matched to your confidence level - gentle pulls for younger children, full throttle for thrill-seekers.
Sardinia's calm morning waters (before the afternoon Mistral) are ideal for waterskiing and wakeboarding, and the sheltered bays around Golfo Aranci offer flat-water conditions that even beginners can enjoy. Life jackets are provided in all sizes, including children's.

Snorkelling & Swimming
Snorkelling gear is included on every MareFun charter at no extra cost. Each boat carries a full set of masks, fins, and pool noodles sized for adults and children. Sardinia's northeast coast is a snorkeller's paradise: the marine reserve around Tavolara shelters grouper, octopus, moray eels, and colourful wrasse, while the shallow granite pools of Molara are warm, calm, and perfect for younger swimmers.
Our skippers know dozens of snorkelling spots and will choose the best one based on wind, current, and your group's experience. Towels, fresh water showers (on larger boats), and sun loungers are waiting when you climb back on board.
Stand-Up Paddleboarding
A SUP lets you explore at your own pace. Paddle into narrow coves that even a tender cannot reach, drift over shallow reefs, or simply stand up and take in the coastline from a vantage point you would never get from the boat. SUP boards are inflatable and stable - easy for first-timers and fun for experienced paddlers.
Ask your skipper to anchor near the granite boulders south of Tavolara or in the sheltered lagoon of Cala Brandinchi for the best SUP conditions.
